If you’re looking for a GP near Heatherton, Mediclinic is a short drive north in Clayton South. Heatherton is a small, quiet suburb surrounded by green space. Many residents are retirees and long-term locals, including people living in retirement villages. Others are families in newer housing. There’s no train station in Heatherton, so easy parking matters. We have free onsite parking right at the door.
Care for older adults and long-term conditions
Many Heatherton residents see us to stay well as they get older. That often includes:
- Chronic disease management. Regular reviews and care plans for diabetes, heart disease, lung conditions and arthritis. A care plan can include our onsite podiatrist, dietitian and physiotherapists where suitable. See Chronic disease management.

Keeping your care in one place
Australian Clinical Labs collects pathology onsite. If you need regular blood tests, you can often have them done in the same visit as your GP appointment. Our onsite podiatrist, Joe Spicuglia, provides foot and nail care and diabetic foot care. Eligible patients with a care plan from their Mediclinic GP can have podiatry bulk billed.

By car: From Heatherton, head north towards Centre Road. You can come up Clayton Road, or along Warrigal Road and then east on Centre Road. Turn into Audsley Street from Centre Road. We’re the first building on the left. The drive takes about 10 minutes. There’s free onsite parking close to the entrance.
By public transport: Buses connect Heatherton with surrounding suburbs. Use the PTV journey planner to find a route to Centre Road or Clayton station.
Map apps sometimes send people further down Audsley Street. Look for our logo on the building.

We’re open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, by appointment only. Book online at /book/ or call (03) 9544 1555. If you need a longer appointment, for example for a care plan, let reception know when you book.
Mediclinic is a mixed-billing practice. Bulk billing is at the practitioner’s discretion for some eligible patients, including people aged 65 and over, concession card holders, DVA card holders, and patients having care plans or health assessments. See our fees page.
